For those of you who know me, know that I try to emulate some form of a tan year round. I have probably tried every single self tanner there is known to mankind. Well, just about. While the above are not self tanners, they give the illusion of a tan without the harsh rays of the sun or the sun bed! :)
I just recently came across NARS Body Glow. The Monoi de Tahiti oil conjures the luxury and tradition of French Polynesia. The bud of the tiare flower is soaked in the finest coconut oil and then blended for a translucent chocolate shimmer.
To use: Apply a sheer veil over the skin after sun exposure, or glide over medium-toned skin for a warm, fragrant, sun-kissed sheen. Even though it's January, you feel and smell like you just came back from a wonderful tan.
Another wonderful product, NARS Bronzing Powder is a true brown-based bronzer with a gold shimmer fusion that's excellent for creating or enhancing the look of healthy, glowing, tanned skin. This comes in both a dark brown with golden shimmer ("Casino") and a lighter brown with golden shimmer ("Laguna").
